Networking
Home PC Patrol's networking service includes the set up your network including a router and up to two additional devices.
Networks can be set up for either home or business environments and as wired, wireless, or a combination of both. Network security is always a priority and all wifi networks are set up with encryption to keep your business or family safe from unauthorized network traffic.
Additional Information: In order to network a device, it must have either a wired network jack (RJ45), or a wifi interface. There are two different classifications of devices that can be connected to networks: "Network Ready" devices have the necessary wi-fi interface or wired network jacks built in and can be connected 'out of the box', without the purchase of additional adapters. "Network Capable" devices have the ability to connect to networks and have software features that allow communication with other network devices; however, they do not have 'built in' wireless or wired interfaces and require the installation of additional wired or wireless adapters before they can be connected to your network.
This networking service does not include the purchase of any additional network adapters, routers, or cabling that may be required to setup your network.
Below is a listing of many of the devices that we can connect to the internet or networks. This is only a sample list and is by no means 'all inclusive'. Even if your device is not listed, if it has network capabilities, Home PC Patrol can get you connected.
